Belotero Filler

As we age, our skin loses hydration, collagen, and elastin and becomes prone to lines and wrinkles.

Dermal fillers or injectables are great ways to return hydration to your skin and decrease visible lines and wrinkles.

Belotero is a hyaluronic acid injectable filler FDA-approved in 2011 to smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds like marionette lines and nasolabial folds. Belotero is also acceptable for use on the lips and the area under the eyes. Results appear immediately and can last for more than a year which is longer than other hyaluronic acid-based injectable fillers.

Belotero contains a hyaluronic acid compound, which means it attracts water. Hyaluronic acid is a biocompatible compound that is found naturally in the skin. When Belotero is injected, it adds and draws water from surrounding tissues which augments the filling effect and hydrates the skin.

Each product in the Belotero Collection shares the same basic structure as HA-based fillers with modifications to make each product better suited for different areas of the face.

Belotero Balance Basic is a prescription injection approved to temporarily smooth out moderate to deep wrinkles and folds. Belotero’s unique manufacturing process produces a soft and cohesive gel that instantly fills the skin to smooth moderate to severe etched-in wrinkles and lines in the lower face. It is the only Belotero product approved in the US by the FDA.

*Belotero Intense has a high elasticity and filling capacity for severe wrinkles.

*Belotero Soft has a soft consistency for those delicate folds and lines in sensitive skin areas.

*Belotero Volume has high lifting and volumizing effects for restoring volume in the temples, chin, and cheeks.

*Belotero Hydro also contains glycerol for better skin hydration.

*As a note: Belotero intense, Soft, Volume, and Hydro are available in other countries but not currently in the US.

Each dermal filler on the market containing hyaluronic acid is based on the same HA molecule, but manufacturers alter different physical and chemical properties to help products perform
